Really improving the lives of  people with multiple vulnerabilities in Cornwall

The Complex Needs Team is looking for a dynamic, collaborative and inclusive Implementation Lead.

Our Team was created in 2021 to support system improvement for people experiencing any combination of Drug and Alcohol, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence, mental ill health, homelessness and offending.

We work with all stakeholders to support and enable partnership work, create and co-produce innovative solutions, harness the passion of those with Lived Experience to fulfil our commitment to ensure that regardless of complexity and geography, everyone in Cornwall will be able to access responsive, evidence-based and creative solutions to ultimately live our best lives.

We are an energetic and committed team including a Strategy Manager, Implementation Lead, a Community Development Worker, a Team Co-ordinator and a team of 6 Support Workers with Lived Experience (Experts by Experience).

You will:

·         Lead the team of Experts by Experience – instilling belief and confidence in your team and other partners across the system

·         Drive the implementation of the Complex Needs Strategy and Delivery Plan

·         Network with partners in the Statutory Sector and VCSE

·         Listen to those who use services to identify and share good practice and find solutions when things could be better

·         Investigate creative solutions and promote collaborative working through workshops, training and public events

·         Do whatever it takes to instil hope in those who feel excluded – challenge stigma and use asset-based approaches

·         Support the development of a new Recovery Community for longer term support

 You have:

·         Experience of working in at least one of – Drugs & Alcohol, Mental Health, DASV, Criminal Justice, Homelessness

·         Experience of leading and supporting teams

·         Experience of Collaborative and Partnership Working

·         Excellent communication and engagement skills

·         Ability to analyse complex situations and systems and come up with innovative solutions

and, ideally,

·         Qualification in Social Work/RMN/ or similar
