We are recruiting a Senior Practitioner to join the West team in a permanent position a role in which you will be expected to use evidence based practice to deliver strengths and holistic outcomes for residents, the successful applicant will have a particular interest in/specialism in supporting Older Adults.  


 
The successful applicant will have an excellent understanding of the adult’s lived experience and will be able to convey the views and feelings of people through high quality practice skills in assessment, planning, intervention and review. 

 

The successful applicant will work collaboratively and positively with other professionals and partner agencies in order to provide a seamless and coherent service delivered at place. Underpinned by evidence-based practise that promotes the welfare and safety for adults whilst striving for improved outcomes.

 

The Senior Practitioner plays a key role in developing and monitoring the competency of front-line social work staff through developing, maintaining and championing expertise in specific areas of social work practice, driving excellent practice based on research and professional experience.

This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.                  

This position will be subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check. 

 

Whilst the location/work-base for this role may have been specified our evolving ways of working means that the role may require you to also work remotely (e.g., from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.
