Strategic Lead for Quality Assurance
Come and be part of our new People Commissioning Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join and help build a new integrated people commissioning function at Cornwall Council.
We are one of the largest unitary Councils, we are creating a new function that supports both Childrens and Adult care services.
There are a number of new opportunities across the People Commissioning function for people who are both interested in building a career in public services and social care as well as opportunities for those who have lots more experience.
The roles will lead on some very important functions. These will include;
• Establishing strategic commissioning and the intelligent client function for the Council across the delivery of people services
• Lead on driving innovation and excellence in service delivery
• Managing patterns of demand differently to improve outcomes
• Establishing strong and effective partnerships to commission services jointly across with health, housing and other providers.
• To lead the strategic transformation and reshaping of services over the medium to longer term.
• Working closely with providers to help them be the best that they can, not only delivering excellent services but also supporting them to deliver added social, economic and environmental value to the Cornish economy.
