An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Business Systems and Performance Data Team as an Integrated Systems & Statutory Performance Assurance Lead for an 18-month fixed term role as maternity cover. 

This will work closely with the Service Manager, Integrated Systems & Statutory Performance to further develop business intelligence for Adult Care and Wellbeing and to support the Business Systems Team Manager with large scale system developments and system integration projects.

The Business Systems and Performance Data Team provides essential support to the Adult Care and Wellbeing Directorate and the Together for Families Directorate ensuring the provision of effective case management systems and performance management information for managers and staff who support vulnerable adults, children and families within Cornwall.

The post holder will be a member of the extended Senior Leadership Team within Business Support and will have an opportunity to positively impact deliverables and outcomes.  Key objectives for the role in the immediate future include the delivery of data and intelligence to support the requirements of the Care Quality Commission Inspection Framework and the successful implementation of a new Quality and Performance Framework.  The post holder will have responsibility for the Adult Care and Wellbeing Performance Data Team and will also be involved in supporting business systems’ projects such as the implementation of a Provider Portal linked with the Directorates’ main case management system and the introduction of system based gross billing arrangements.

The successful post holder will have:

  • An education to degree or higher diploma level of equivalent work experience in performance management/business intelligence
  • Experience of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  •  Excellent strategic and project management skills
  • A capacity for creative thinking, problem solving and resolution management
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Team members primarily work from home but there is an option to work from one of the main office bases located in Camborne, Truro or Bodmin if this is preferred.  Staff who work from home are provided with all necessary equipment.  We are open to a discussion about flexible working.

This position will be subject to a criminal record disclosure check. 

Whilst the location/work-base for this role may have been specified our evolving ways of working means that the role may require you to also work remotely (e.g., from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.
